export model in PDF to PowerPoint
« on: November 19, 2013, 10:48:33 AM »
Dear All,

This question isn't exactly related to AgiSoft PhotoScan but maybe somebody can help me and answer me: is there any possibility to export model in PDF to PowerPoint? I need to make a presentation and it would be easier to show the model attached to presentation?

Thanks in advance

I believe you would have to link to it using OLE in the presentation. Since it would not be part of the PowerPoint file, the Adobe Reader would be needed on the target system.

I say Adobe Reader specifically because 3d pdfs are only viewable in Adobe Reader. So if the target system has a different pdf reader assigned to open PDFs, that would be an issue.

I remember doing this a year or so ago, but I can't remember what I did. I know it had something to do with an add-in which needs to be installed in the powerpoint version that is being used for the display. If you are using the same machine for production and display there should be no problem.

But as I can't remember what the add-in was called this is quite pointless...  ::)
