Flight plan, Overlap and Terrain type
« on: December 27, 2013, 05:20:46 PM »
Hi,

Which flight plan should be used for mapping using Agisoft?
Which is the recommended overlap for frontal overlap (flight direction) and side overlap. Difficult terrains (forests, snow, lakes, …) require higher overlap. The minimal recommended overlap in these cases frontal overlap and side overlap?

Thanks.

Hi,

The first thing to do is to read basic texts of photogrammetry and flight planning in the network there is much literature.
And as for the software you recommend this http://topoflight.com/en/Information/Software/TopoFlight, it's easy for beginners, but it is very important to have very clear rules and concepts.
