Direct Georeferencing
« on: December 23, 2013, 10:50:59 AM »
Hi,

I have images taken from plane, it's longitude, latitude, elevation, phi, omega, kappa. I suppose that earth is flat (I don't need any DEM on that stage) and I want to calculate how image is nailed to the ground. Want to find center and 4 corners of nailed image to the ground.

Is it possible with PhotoScan? Or maybe you could advice some simple formula for calculation?

Thanks in advance!

I don't have a direct solution for you, sorry, but I recommend that you read up on kml. It is relatively easy to embed the UAV telemetry with links to your photos for some dramatic perspectives in Google Earth. It is particularly impressive with oblique shots.
