« on: January 10, 2014, 01:02:14 PM »
Hi there,
it would be great if you could export the cameras not as single cameras but one moving camera.

what do you think?

cheers,

For this is better suited the NUKE X, or other software as its a bit faster and specialy designed for that task. Pscan have problem with small angle separation between images, so it cannot track so god as NUKE X, yes its a bit pricey product but it specialized for that.
Other way you need export every single cam position and merge it later......

Actually this already works with .chan export

If you import this .chan file into a Houdini or Nuke camera, it will give you these transforms per frame.
Open up a .chan file in a text editor and you can see.

What you will not get in the .chan file is a reference to the original photo filename.

I use fbx to export hem all to maya.

Then made a simple script that select cameras, and run tool it makes 1 master camera fromm all the other cameras.
Just copy and key trans, rot, lens, filmback info etc.

As long as you keep everything in order and number the frames 1 - lastframe  then you get a nice animated camera.

Note you may have to put a -90 rotation in Y on the "Rotate Axis"  (This is not the same as the normal rotate channel, you will need to open the attribute editor in maya)

Cheers
