Primarily due to losing our studio space in Brighton, we are now investigating selling our bespoke 77 DSLR photogrammetry rig.
This is a complete, professional, and configurable rig for highly detailed and textured 3D body scans.
There is a showreel with some of the work we’ve done here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zpC-IBhkSI1cXnj6beKg3vqQRICi31sG?usp=sharingOur scanning rig has the following features:
Custom built trussing set up.
The trussing forms a walk in ‘cage’ that bolts together and comes apart into sections for transport, also have extensions that can be added to the top
The trussing can additionally be configured as a large 5m ring for time freeze capture.
Cameras
The setup uses 77 x Nikon D3300 24MP cameras with 18-55mm kit lenses.
The cameras are on adjustable ballheads that are fixed to clamps that in turn attach to the trussing
This means the cameras can be configured according to needs.
For full body capture they can be spread evenly around the height of the rig (7 cameras on each of the 11 vertical trusses) and zoomed out (18mm)
For super detailed head scans, or grouped and zoomed in (55mm) for extremely high detailed head or object scans.
Each camera has its own power pack, so all cameras are fully powered from mains power.
Each camera has its own wireless trigger which takes 2 x AAA batteries
Flash
There are 8 YONGNUO YN560 Ⅳ 2.4GHz Flash Speedlites that are also on clamps and so configurable in terms of position and spread. They are diffused by bouncing off a small flash umbrella. The trussing is also surrounded by white material to help the diffuse lighting
These are also mains powered through a bespoke recharger unit.
There are also spare flash units which could be used in the rig.
All speedlites are controllable through a main flash trigger
Data
All cameras and flashes are fired using a single trigger
Each camera is connected via USB cable to one of 11 USB hubs, in the current setup, these feed directly to a single main PC.
The free software DigiCamControl is being used to retrieve images from the cameras to a master PC after each set is shot.
The images are then being processed using Reality Capture on a 3070 graphics card. A full textured model can be built in just a few minutes. Reality Capture is now free for small companies.
Please note that the computer is NOT included in the sale
