photo rig capture process reliability on large scale ?

Hello All 

I am new to this forum which I have found very useful.

I am considering investing in a photo rig and have been reading around the various posts covering the subjet.

I have a questions for the members who have one about reliability. How sensible the system is re position of the cameras ? How many capture can you make an hour? My idea would be to photoshoot people at parties for instance and see how feasible it is.
