Exporting marker points?
« on: April 07, 2014, 01:12:30 PM »
Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to export the manual marker points and bring them into Maya?
Thanks,

Hello gixer,

In what format you need to export markers for proper import to Maya? PhotoScan can save markers to .xml file structure using Tools Menu -> Export Markers. Also the format could be customized using Python scripting.

I'm hoping I would be able to bring that information to Maya somehow.
In tracking for example I always put manual points on all the corners for modeling reference.
Tracking software will always export them out with the camera solve.
I just need a way to get the marker coordinates in 3d space relative to the cameras.
