Updates - 1824 or 1812
« on: February 16, 2014, 10:15:47 PM »
I currently have 1.0.1.1812 Windows 64 bit Standard installed. When I click on "Check for Updates" in the Help menu PhotoScan reports that 1.0.1.1812 is installed and it is the latest version. But when I look at the AgiSoft website for downloads (Download demo page) it shows version 1.0.2.1824 as the current version.

Is the "Check for Updates" feature not properly reporting the latest version?

Hello David,

We've just released version 1.0.2 with some minor improvements and features. Check for Updates feature will indicate that new release is available in a few day, it's quite usual practice for us.

Main changes and fixes:

- Added intensity data to LAS point cloud (calculated from point colors),
- Added intelligent scale selection for LAS point clouds,
- Improved orthophoto quality (dots near building edges).

Also some minor fixes.

Hey, there's something wrong with this version.
Generating a simple model .66 product images. Duration: 4 hours!.
Previous versions up did it in 1 hour.
Generate a point cloud, it is also very long.
1795 version runs much faster.

Hello kris3d.

There were no processing algorithms changes between builds 1812 and 1824 that could affect the processing speed.

Could you please make sure that the same reconstruction parameters has been used for the same dataset on the same computer? Probably you can provide the chunks info for both new and old projects?
