tube extension for macro photography
« on: March 05, 2014, 07:22:02 PM »
Hi,

I have a question.

I would use extension tubes instead a macro lens. Could it make some issues?

Thanks to everyone

I haven't tried it myself, but I would think it could create some issues with the Camera Calibration.

You might need to manually edit the focal length to compensate for the amount of extension you are applying. However, since it really isn't the same thing as a focal length extender, I don't know if simply adding the extension amount is actually the right thing to do.
