+1 for DNG format support.

I just started shooting aerials with a Ricoh GR and DNG seems great for catching additional detail in shadows, which seems like it gets lost when converting to 8-bit JPG, and if I do 16-bit tiff it's about 80MB/photo, while DNG is about the same size as JPG (10-15MB)

It seems like for SFM work it probably wouldn't matter if images were demosaicked or not, or if they were dark, so long as the relevant detail is captured in the embedded "RAW" tiff.

Any development in this area? With large projects this would save us conversion time and storage space.

DNG's appear black in PS 1.2.5.

Here's how they look in Adobe Bridge:

These are older DNG's shot with a Ricoh GX200. The Ricoh GX200 records raw images in DNG format natively.

Hello bazarus,

Thank you for sending the image sample. We'll fix the DNG support in the next update.

I think the issue is that Photoscan does not read the sidecar settings? I've tested dng as well today and it only loads the files in their default (as shot) state.

hi
as mentioned in a other topic i would love to have agisoft suport the files as they are edited because this would save me lots of disk space.
right now i have to edit the dng and then export as tiff and they are HUGE even compared to the DNG about 125mb per image
i have to correct for vigneting since otherwise i have dark stripes on the model and it wouzld be great if agisoft could suport that edits in the DNG file
thanks
frank

I'm on build 2834 using DNG files exported from DxO Optics Pro 11 and they are all showing up black.  The files were originally in Nikon NEF Format shot by a D5500.
