Crash when loading a project
« on: May 19, 2014, 09:45:20 AM »
Hi,

Photoscan 1.0.4 build 1847 on linux Debian sid/jessie 64 bits, 10 gig RAM, core i7. GPU is mixed Intel/nvidia GT but for this test I just use the intel GPU.

After having worked for several days on a project, when trying to load the project:
-I see the progress bars
-photoscan crashes when the loading is finished

I have found that by unchecking 'check for updates on program startup', 'switch to model view by default', 'enable vbo support', photoscan does not crash anymore.

However, this looks definitely like a bug to me. Any hints?

Thank you,

Pascal

Hello Pascal,

Have you submitted signed crash report already?

Probably, the project file you are opening has high number of polygons or huge texture and the crash is caused by the graphic card that is unable to handle sush data. Please check that graphic card drivers are up to date.
