Pre-release version of Agisoft PhotoScan 0.8.4 is available for download.

This pre-release is considered as unstable and is not recommended for production use.

Please let us know if you have any problems using this version.

Please post problems and/or questions concerning other PhotoScan version in separate topics.

This topic will be removed when the final 0.8.4 version is released.

Note
Project files created with 0.8.4 version can't be opened with earlier versions.

I followed the manual and after a while did get results on the optimization based on ground control data, but now errors have grown at least 100 fold against what was originally there. I am not using any camera positions so i left camera accuracy at 10m. Set the ground control accuracy at 0.25 m and the pixel at 0.1. What am i doing wrong?

Hi all,

Does anyone else experience a reduced responsiveness of the GUI when opening large project files? We have some projects of 600+ photos that load well in 0.8.3, but seem to stall in 0.8.4.

The latest beta (0.8.4 - 1277), seems to have a bug in MacOSX. The software keeps asking for the registration code every startup. Anyone else has noticed this bug?

i have the same problem that with the latest OS X-build, i always have to reenter the license code upon startup. (i am admin on the machine)
Even starting photoscan from the terminal as sudo does not change that.

This problem (licence/OSX) only occurs under latest  Lion version. I've tested in an ancient machine with MacOSX 10.6.x and I had no problems. Prior beta version was behaving normally.
I've already used the superuser suggestion but no luck.

Thank you for information regarding Mac OS X Lion. We don't have a Mac OS X Lion setup at the moment to investigate the problem, but we will try to find one as soon as possible.

I sometimes use unselected tool to remove the wrong part, hope that there will be such a tool or shortcut keys
