Referenced chunck. Problems with Z axis
« on: June 26, 2014, 02:51:45 PM »
Hi:

I have a problem with a chunk wiyh referenced topographic coordinates. This is a job of aerial photogrammetry.
The model has the z axis correctly calculated,  but the z axis of the Region Box does not match. When I calculate the mesh in  height field mode the progran work along the  z axis of the Region Box not the model z axis one.
How I can make the z axis of the Region Box to engage the z axis model?

Hi again:

I know the tool, but if I reference the model with survey accuracy, and I need a very precise tool  (mathematically precise) and not an approximate adjustment.

Python scrip maybe?

I agree with you
I have asked for the same and made a feature request long time ago. For some reasons it seems not to be a issue for most people wether bounding box z is exactly aligned with the actual vertical or not.

I'd love some clarification by Alexey. why it is not a direct option?
