Where do the Depth Maps go during Dense Cloud Generation?

Hello,

there is one thing I do not understand in PS.

When generating the DC there are times the Depth Maps are generated, other times apparently not!? Why? What happens? When are Depth Maps generated and when not? Or what am I doing wrong?

Depth maps are kept only if the corresponding option is turned on in the Advanced tab of PhotoScan Preferences window.

the option is turned on.  I assume the option is valid for the actual project?! And not just for one chunk, correct.

As you can see in my screenshot above, the depth map did not appear in the first chunk but it remain in the second one.

I will however check the options now before each project, to see if this happens more often.

yes, I suppose. Since I'm working on two workstations and changing files form one PC to the other, it's possible that the option was turned off in one of the two PS installations.
