Hello Claude!

I'd say that either of them would be an excellent choice.
I don't think the images should be much (any?) different at all. Big thing that 600D got over the 100D I'd say is the flipscreen which can be useful but I would take the 100D due to weight (407g vs 560g with battery and memorycard) and formfactor (I intended to have a potentially portable rig though so that is my preference).
I don't think the prices are much different (atleast they are not here where I am) and the 100D comes with the STM kit lens which is supposed to be quite good.

Best, Magnus.

Thanks for reply Magnus!
I have seen that some guys bought this cameras. I think I will do it also. I afraid of kit lenses, probably I will buy standard Canon EF 50MM 1.8II - quite good price. Shutter lag is a bit smaller in 100D.

I hope that newer means better.

Any other advice?

Best Regards

Hello Claude!

Don't be afraid of the kit lenses ;) If you shoot at higher F stops they are great (have a look at this thread were this is currently talked about http://www.agisoft.ru/forum/index.php?topic=2707.0). The 50mm is a great choice though.

Otherwise I have no particular advice, except maybe check out the 1200D. I myself have no experience with it but it seems a bit interesting (we own Canon 1100D, 100D, 600D and Nikon D3200).

Feel free to ask anything else though, I'll try to help.

Best, Magnus.
