Markers not automatically identified in overlapping photographs
« on: September 09, 2014, 01:25:59 PM »
Hi - I'm having issues with getting Photoscan to automatically identify marker locations on my input photographs (all of which are aligned well.)

I have my own markers which are clearly identifiable in both the point cloud and input photographs. Upon loading a photograph, clicking 'create marker' over the marker location on the photograph, a green flag appears and the marker is added to the marker list, but nothing else happens. The marker, and subsequent ones, are not identified on the remaining input photographs...

I did this yesterday on any almost identical project using the workflow described in the help file, and it worked without a problem. Is there a known bug in the workflow for automatic marker identification?

Any help greatly appreciated!
Matt

Problem resolved... I'd not generated a mesh for the project, which needs to be done prior to marker identification and automatic matching!
