Can this version be installed alongside version 1.0.4, or does it overwrite it?

Hello bisenberger,

Unfortunately only one PhotoScan version can be installed at a time, PhotoScan 1.1.0 installer will overwrite 1.0.4 version.

You can revert to a previous version at any time later by uninstalling PhotoScan 1.1.0 from Control Panel and installing 1.0.4 version afterwards.

Wow! That changelog is impressive  :) Great work! Can't wait to check it out. Will it be possible to install the viewer on other network clients?

The Network features look great!

Can you please comment on the license requirements for running Photoscan Pro on multiple computers utilizing the network features?  Do you require additional licenses for the extra clients or processing nodes?

Kind Regards,
Paul

Hello Paul,

PhotoScan Pro licenses are node-locked. And since each processing node can be used also in common mode, it requires separate license key for activation.

Hello Dmitry,

great work!

Are there any new options, features or improvements for orthophoto generation? Is this changelog the final version until the official release or may some features be added in the new future?

To be honest I hoped there would be some new tools like seamline editing or something like that, to improve the workflow and quality for orthophotos.

PhotoScan Pro licenses are node-locked. And since each processing node can be used also in common mode, it requires separate license key for activation.

So $3500 USD/compute node, ouch! I guess I'm more accustomed to distributed renderer pricing so that seems awfully high. Plus that means all of the interactive licenses are going to be tied up during the compute task so work on other projects will need to stop.

Are there any plans to develop a compute only version to run on headless nodes that could be licensed in packs of 5 or 10?
