What is the ideal F-stop, focal length?

Try to scan a car, read alot of infor how how to scan a car but I'm getting very poort results

Also, try to scan the car usiing video mode of the camera, convert to stills and still not getting good results.

Cars usually are very difficult to scan due to glossy surfaces without visual texture.  Try a stone, piece of wood, tree trunk, etc.
