bug in create marker for georeferencing
« on: November 04, 2014, 06:15:49 PM »
Hi
I have a problem in georeferencing a model (10000000 face model) since when I try to create markers, the resulting location is completely random (many times the markers   are located in the middle air!). I try to put markers on the images, or on model and so on, but the result is the same.
Some one else observed this problem?

thank you

version used: 1.0.4 and same problem on 1.1.x

Hi
it is 1 Gb project and they are confidential since unpublished data....
For markers I use right click and the command "create marker". I try to make this operation on images or model but the result doesn't change. I can attach an image to show you where the system puts the markers as an example.

Probably there are some misaligned cameras.

I can suggest to createe new marker in the Workspace pane and then use Place Marker option to define two projections for this marker, then you'll get estimated marker projection (gray flag) on other photos.
