Yeah, cost was a huge concern for me. That's why I started out with the NX-1100. I considered it expendable, although I did manage to keep it from crashing, which is a plus! I'm really nervous about putting my NX-500 on the P2 though. It's so much better, but that came at a serious cost.

Just a quick note that the Ricoh GR still exists and has been (very minorly) updated to a Mk2 version (and yes, it's still relatively expensive).

I was thinking of getting an Inspire to do scanning of assets for VFX use - like rocks, cliff faces and so on. Does anybody have examples of expire DNG files, used to scanning something of a comparable size - say 10m across? I need really high quality textures and am a bit worried the quality of the camera is not good enough compared to dslrs...
Any help is appreciated.
