Photoscan Pro Ignores Core Setting
« on: November 19, 2014, 08:54:26 PM »
I am trying Pro with the 30 day trial. I am having issues with Pro ignoring the core settings for my CPU. No matter how many cores I tell it to use, it uses 100% of all cores even set to 0 cores. I have tried it at different stages (Align, Dense, Ect.) but makes no difference.

I have a dell precision T5600, dual xeon 6 core 2Ghz (24 cores), 16 gig Ecc Ram, Dual Nvidia Quadro 4000 cards.

Hello Jeremy225,

Number of CPU cores in the OpenCL tab of the PhotoScan Preferenced window has effect only during depth maps estimation (sub-step of Build Dense Cloud stage) when at lease one OpenCL device is turned on.

Is this the Nvidias latest drivers problem? Or has it been fixed in the latest version of Photoscan?
