first picture shows the "open dataset" dialog
second picture is the dialog after anything is clicked/selected in it (it becomes visually ok)  - but does not display any files.
third picture is what happends when I attempt to select anything else than "photoscan tiles"

Viewer 0.3.0 build 1995 64bit  , Ubuntu 14.10
In the main application, file dialogs and selection boxes work fine.

Unfortunately we were unable to reproduce the problem on test Ubuntu 14.10 system.

Gall:
I have to bump this one up as, from what I understand despite the missing images, I have the same problem with the viewer (0.3.0 build 2331 64 bit) on Ubuntu 12.04.

This seems to affect only the file dialog (open, save and the file log selection). The dialog is empty and some unresponsive ui elements appear if you happen to click on one of the left menu folders. This make the viewer unusable.

I'm not sure what additional information could be useful though...
