Standard edition 1.1.0 align stage crash
« on: January 07, 2015, 08:07:22 PM »
Hi,
I have installed Photoscan 1.1.0 2004.
When i try to align more then 7/10 images Photoscan crashes during "Estimate Camera Location" phase.
Does not matter if i use high, medium or low settings.
The same set of images work fine with older 1.0.4 version.
How can i solve?

My system:
Windows 7, i7-2600k, nvidia gtx780
photoscan standard edition

Best regards
Andrea

p.s.: i have attached 2 log files. 1 for the 7images set that works fine and another with the whole set crash

Hello spogna,

Have you submitted the crash report?

I also suggest to check RAM modules for bad sectors using Memtest86 or similar utility.

Maybe you can check your settings for openCL and make sure that the graphic-card driver settings are correct. When I installed the new version build 2004, I had to make these settings again.
I am not sure if this was caused by the PS update or by the Nvida driver update, because I did both before I was trying the new PS version. (because the PS 1.1.0 can now handle the Nvidia 344.75 driver with openCL 4.4.0 support. This works fine by the way)
I changed the Nvida optimus settings for PS to "only use the Highspeed graphic prozessor"
By this I disable the onboard Graphic HD4000 which is not good on my machine.

Hello Andrea,

Crash reporter tool should be shown right after the application crash allowing to send the information to us via Internet.

Hello Andrea,

We are currently investigating the issue and are trying to reproduce the problem on similar configuration. I let you know as soon as we have more information.

At the moment we can suggest to completely uninstall PhotoScan and remove the corresponding directory in the Program Files\Agisoft\ folder and then install the latest release version.
