Hi there,

I'm quite new on PhotoScan and I was wondering about the two following questions:

- Are the tie points the same as the sparse points?

- When PhotoScan calculates the camera total error (pix) and the marker total error (pix), is the unit pixels? Or meters?

Hello Ant,

Sparse cloud in PhotoScan consists of valid matching points (that are marked by blue circles in the Photo view).

Error (pix) is related to the projection error in pixels, whereas error (m) has the meaning of the distance between source (measured) and estimated position of camera center or marker.
