I'm doing the first test with Metashape.

But I have also tried other pictures and I always get something unrecognizable.
What's wrong?

Hello espartano,

I think that for the first tries you can use something mode textured and probably something bigger, in order to use the image frame space more effectively.
The texture of the object you are trying to reconstruct now is lacking distinguishable features and is quite difficult for the reconstruction.

Also I hope that you are not using geotagged images for the indoor processing.

Hello espartano,

Is that correct, that there are very few points shown on the images, if you open them in Photo view mode by double-clicking on the camera's label and press Show Points toolbar button?
This chair doesn't seem to be much better object than the toy car in terms of texture pattern - it's still mostly plain and untextured and most of the tie points that were detected are related to the background.

Also according to the video markers do not seem to be placed accurately - at lest for me it seems that the projections for the same marker are not pointing to the same real-world point.

The background is black, o lot of points. Also, I had set manually points 1, 2 and 3 before.

And this is the image 4:



No black background, few points. Also with points 1, 2 (and 4) I inserted before.

I did the same process for all the photos.

Why some photos have different treatment than others?
