Most likely in an external application.  I use Terragen for rendering models and animations

I second the motion on Blender. Here is a link to a tutorial which I found helpful:

You will need to adapt the workflow a bit by exporting your Photoscan model as a bundler.out file, and will also need to create the list.txt file which is just a list of all the camera names (corresponding to the cameras in the bundler.out file).

Fly Through

Is it possible to create a fly-through after the workflow is completed? If not, what software can be used to create a fly-through and be able to handle large amounts of data?

Thank you

Cloud compare is pretty powerful and freely available (http://www.danielgm.net/cc/) - you can use it to make animations and fly throughs which are nice

Can anyone suggest a fly through program that can be downloaded to use along with an Agisoft export.

We would like to create a video flyover of our house model

I'm interested in the same thing. I'm looking into this software as a solution for fly-throughs.

https://www.virtual-surveyor.com/

The other software that I know of would be Blender or 3D Studio Max. Both of those have steep learning curves. Interested to see other peoples thoughts on this.

Fly through pointclouds
« Reply #14 on: February 24, 2017, 09:21:06 PM »
Hi everybody,

I was wandering if someone can suggest me how to create an animation of a fly through camera inside the pointclouds generated with photoscan.

Thanks a lot for any help!

Best regards,
Alessandro
