Agisoft CAD - POSTSURVEY

Hi guys,

More and more I am in a need for a good drawing tool that can be used to draw a simple primitves like points and lines directly on the 3D model. The TLS model produced by the PS and viewed in the Viewer seems to be the ideal model for POST SURVEY of the model. I am just trying to imagine the abillity to have something like the Agi Viewer with the drawing options. Of course the DXF export of the drawn primitves would be required to finish up the job in some dedicated CAD SW. That is something I am willing to give money for!!!

Plese, consider my idea and if someone else thinks that it would be OK to have this AGi-Cad, please give me the supoprt so the guys from Agisoft take it seriously.

Dear Agisoft Programmers,

As you know, Acute3D has been sold to Bently, I hope this is not your future. Why don't you make some implementation of your TLS file in the AutoCad (or some otherCAD) SW, or make your own CAD based on IntelliCad? I guess you should be able to find many interested customers  ready to pay for it, I am one of them. I am sure that, for egzample, guys from MicroSurvey would be more than happy to have it in their CAD.

Maybe you can post a list of features and functionality your a mostly interested in for our consideration?

WOW !! I am so happy that you have noticed me.

Let's see what is the minimal list of features that should be added to the Agisoft Viewer to become an ultimate tool for surveyors to finalize their projects :

1. Measuring feature that SNAPS to the model and can read the cooridnates as well as distance and elevation difference between two points.

2. Basic layering feature.

3. Draw -> Point, Line, Polyline. Using MODEL SNAP of course.

4. EXport -> DXF of the drawn entities.

Why do I want to draw in the Agisoft Viewer? Very simple answer, it is extremly fast, easy to move and able to see the features hidden under the roofs, trees etc., It looks like I am walking on the field instead just looking from abowe. If you wand to draw a break line on the field it is easy because you can clearly SEE it. You can see all the building corners, not the roof projection. 

If you make it, you'll make a lot of serveyors very happy. And of course, that should be the NEW product, not the free viewer. The free Viewer should have only the measuring options.
