Point cloud upside down (basically a mirror image)
« on: March 11, 2015, 01:59:48 PM »
Hi, and advance apologies for asking such a novice question! I am very new to Agisoft.

My issue is that after aligning the cameras perfectly, the point cloud is upside down. I have read in another forum post that Agisoft doesn't know which way is up because there are no references. To help me with this issue, you'll need to know that we are rotating the object basically on a turntable, but we are using microscope images instead of using a camera, and we are unable to input any EXIF data, lens distances, or anything like that. We have tried to find a way of setting these options and it hasn't worked so I would appreciate if your advice doesn't include trying to set these settings, if possible. Thank you!

Hello Alice,

If you need just approximate model orientation in the coordinate system space you can use Rotate Object tool.
