Creating a generic roof for a model
« on: March 15, 2015, 12:01:56 AM »
Hello Everyone,
I am new to photogrammetry and agisoft, so forgive me if this is a silly question.  I wanted to ask you fine people if there was a way to create a generic roof for a single room building.  I managed to get a decent looking model from all sides, but I could not get any photos looking down on the roof.  I'd like to close the model somehow.  Any ideas are appreciated; thank you.

Not possible to do any 3D modeling in photoscan. Probably the best software for a task like this is Zbrush or maybee 3D coat.  If you are looking for free software i would recomend Blender.

Thank you, I have not used blender; is it difficult to work with?

Blender is unfortunately not known for being easy to learn.
