Dji Phantom 2+ V3 Volume survey Workflow

Does anyone know if a workflow tutorial exists for volume surveys. Moreso on retrieving the geotag data from the phantom.

There is information in this thread about accessing the OS of the repeater and camera for the Vision UAVs.

As the operating system is hackable, and many cameras can take external inputs if programmed correctly, it would be feasible to take the Phantom's GPS data and put it into a compact camera as well.
