ortho error after georeferenced
« on: May 05, 2015, 04:23:53 PM »
I have done aligning process in PS and resulting bowl effect orthophoto. After I use GCP from static GPS measurement to georeference the ortho, the DSM/ortho goes strange. Some area have error in elevation and sometimes produce spike.
I have try to reprocess from the start, and the problem still occurs.
Please help me to solved it. Thanks in advance

Do you have a printscreen of the GCP in PS?
You chose the right Koo-System?

and you've done the cameracalibration after the GCP-mesurement?

Hello masopiq,

I also ask you to provide some screenshots demonstrating the problem.

ristag,
please find screenshoot of GCP residues.
The coordinate system is correct at UTM Zone 50S.

Hello masopiq,

These steps on the reconstructed surface seems to be related to the lack of the overlap between flight lines (almost no matching points between the images in the neighboring lines).

The Reference pane contents seem to be fine, but usually we suggest to uncheck the cameras in situations when the GCPs are available.

Thanks Alex,
It's mean, there is no any action in PS to solve it...unless I take photo again
Is blurred photo will affect the mosaic/aligning result and could produce spike?

Thanks

If you get a blurry image or problematic terrain and combine that with inadequate overlap between images then the camera alignment can drift from expected flight path. In your screen grab the two central paths have failed to align between one pair of images and as this overlap contained most of the available data for the alignment there was nothing to stop the alignment drifting.
