Export Texture Mess
« on: May 30, 2015, 02:32:52 AM »
When I try to export my texture it creates a complete mess. I am using the most current version of Agisoft Standard and trying to export the texture as a tiff or jpeg. The texture is perfect in agisoft.  I am also wondering why agisoft creates my model upside down. IE the photos are underneath the created model and I have to use the trackball to rotate the model to see the photos and model from a top view.

Thanks!

Hello Viking69,

PhotoScan Standard has no referencing instruments, so the default model orientation in space is arbitrary. However, you can rotate the model relatively to the coordinate system axis using Rotate Object tool.

Texture atlas may consist of big number of charts, if you are using Generic mapping mode. Only Orthophoto mapping mode produces single chart atlas. Also you can create a custom UV in the external application based on the exported model and then import it back to PhotoScan for texturing.
