Projecting 3D point cloud to 2D images
« on: July 13, 2015, 11:20:06 PM »
Hi all,

I would like to be able to project the dense 3D point cloud points onto each of the 2D images used to create the reconstruction.  Is this possible with Agisoft's outputs?

Thanks
Gordon

Wouldn't that give exactly the same image as the 2D image used for the source?

I'm curious, what do you want to achieve?

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

What I want is a depth map for each image (i.e. the distance to each of the visible points for that camera at each pixel).  Since posting this I've found out that's an option when building the dense cloud.  I'm currently running it again with that option selected, but can't verify it provides what I want yet.

Thanks
