Option to filter photos by markers in photo
« on: July 22, 2015, 09:57:41 AM »
When working with a thousands of markers it can be rather time consuming scrolling and searching for the specific marker I'm looking for in the list, so I then can filter the photos for this marker.

In the markers list I can select "Filter photos by markers" which is great. What I would like is the same feature when right clicking on a marker in a photo. This would allow me to open an image, locate a marker I would like to set i all the photos where its visible, right click to filter the photos and the set the markers.

Its a small request and I'm guessing its pretty simple to implement.

Another way of setting a marker in a photo

When working with thousands of markers it can extremely difficult to place the first couple of markers.

If my photo alignment is done without georeferencing the markers might not even be visibly in the photos.

Normally I would go into a photo, right click on a place where I would like to set a marker, click on "Place marker" and select the corresponding marker.

If I have thousands of markers only the first few markers, which can fit inside the monitor will be shown and if my marker is not within the few shown, I cannot place it.

What I am suggesting is a way to select a marker in the list on the left, right click it (or similar) select "place in photo" and the go into a photo and click where I would like to set it.
