Pls check out my animated 3D scan
« on: August 20, 2015, 04:54:52 PM »
I scanned in my female bodybuilder friend and processed it with Photoscan.  I've rigged her up as a kickboxer and put her up on my website, you can see it herehttp://www.punkoffice.com/tori
Just wanted to show peeps how 3D scanned people can be used within websites.  It should work on all browsers and modern mobile devices at 60fps.

Wow this looks awesome! Can you give some insight on how you did it?

Here's the video that shows the processes I went through from scanning to rigging.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeVJ03tn-98  I'm using Unity3D in the video but with that web page I'm using Babylon.js because its more light-weight and I can get it working on mobile devices at 60fps.  The avatar consists of 20,000 polygons and 25 bones.
