New user needs some help with my textured 3d image
« on: August 15, 2015, 02:24:08 AM »
So I'm a very new user but I've made a couple scenes and my orthos seem ok but my models are pretty junky.  We set up a fake accident scene the other day to try and I was less than thrilled about my textured model.  I shot 153 pictures with a combination of an Inspire 1 and a panasonic Gh3 on the ground.  My dense cloud came out ok but my textured model is terrible.  What should I do to clean up my model?

Im sure there are plenty of things that I've done wrong but any help would be appreciated.

Hello drewid20,

It looks more like shaded view of Height Field reconstruction and not textured view.

I can suggest to generate the texture using Generic or Adapted Orhtophoto mode, or if there are sufficient resources rebuild mesh in Arbitrary mode.
