high vs ultra high dense cloud
« on: September 21, 2015, 04:37:32 PM »
Hi! I have produced a dense cloud with "ultra high" quality and it has a density of 0,1 mm (measured with Geomagic). is it possible to obtain the same results (0,1 mm) working with "high" quality? Maybe by adding other cameras?

As far as I know Ultra High quality uses either the original image scale or image scale times 2 to find 3D points for the densified point cloud.
With that in my mind my reasoning comes to the conclusion that the only way to to increase the density with the High settings would be to take images closer to the object so the sampling distance becomes smaller.
