RAM requirements

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding RAM. The PS memory requirements pdf says that for 2000 photos at 12 MP you will need 128 GB of RAM. If I have 24 MP photos, does this requirement double or quadruple?

Hello aneverman,

Dependence of the image resolution is linear, so one can assume that 24 MPix image = 2 x 12 MPix images.
