Depth difference of dense point cloud models
« on: September 22, 2015, 01:56:21 PM »
Hi all,

I'm uni student, currently doing a project about gully erosion with photogrammetry monitoring.

I have 2 dense cloud models, one is gully in May and the other one is gully in Sep, and I'm looking at their differences between time.

I already get their volume differences but just wondering is there any methods that I can get the depth or width difference between 2 models?
(I have ESRI software in my own desktop if I need to use that to do this)

Thanks
Kenny

Thanks.
Do you have some tricks to use it?
Cuz I exported as .obj file and put it into cloudcompare, just shown as planar object.
And I googled or searched some tutorials on youtube, their models come out very nicely.
So, if you can give me more tips on using cloudcompare, it'd be great.

Thanks again
