hide dense cloud classes
« on: October 22, 2015, 05:12:31 PM »
The ability to hide dense cloud classes would simplify the selection of points when doing manual classification.

Actually the more I play with Assign Class, having the ability to choose what class the points are coming from pretty much does what I had intended with hiding points.

Show / hide pointcloud classes
« Reply #2 on: January 19, 2017, 09:23:36 PM »
Hello

Is there a way to display only certain classes of the dense pointcloud? This would help a lot in manual classification. It could also be a python method, something like: dense_cloud.showPoints([1,2])

Many thanks

Sky

EDIT:

Im sorry i posted the wrong question... my question was: Is it possible to hide selected points in dense point clouds in agisoft photoscan? If one needs to hide selected points so he can better cleanup hard to acces parts of the model (which were previously blocked by hidden points)...

And once the cleanup (deleting on unwanted HARD to acces points) is done, than re-hide (show again) the previously hidden points (in dense point cloud)? Does agisoft has such functionality? (if not, why :-)? seems like a usefull feature)?

Thank you

Im sorry in the original post i posted wrong question (on wrong forum) about zbrush :-D... I have updated the first post with the originally intended question about agisoft photoscan - how to temporary hide selected points in dense point cloud...

Hello,

I think the possibility of hiding certain dense cloud classes will be included in the version 1.4 functionality.

HIDE/SHOW of different point cloud classes would be great

+ option to define your own label/name for a point cloud class and also the option adjust the colour & transparancy for each class

Hello all,

Latest version of PhotoScan Pro 1.4.0 allows to filter the dense cloud points by classes (and also by manual selection). So certain point classes or selected points may be hidden for more accurate cloud editing.
