Orthomosaic turning out very bright
« on: October 29, 2015, 05:05:23 PM »
Just wondering if anyone would know why the orthomosaic created by photoscan is overly bright?

I basically just created it with the default settings, and it's just extremely bright as you can see beside the settings window.

Well, do the input images already vary in brightness?
Different lighting conditions or varying exposure times?

You might want to try using the color-correction. This could help.
Cheers-

The images were all taken on the same day and they appear fine if you view them individually. Photoscan is somehow making them brighter. If you look at the edges of the orthomosaic, the terrain looks closer to it's natural color and brightness.

I'm running it with color correction turned on, and will see how it turns out.
