Pro vs Standard Versoin

If I am looking to scan small items (e.g. size of a cup up to size of a person) is there any advantage to using the Pro version? Is the pro version only for doing GIS related scans?

Hello partex,

If you do not need to set any coordinate system for your object with PhotoScan, do not require Python API, and do not need high-resolution image rendering using Export Orthophoto command upon selecting desired projection plane, then PhotoScan Standard is as good for your tasks.
In case you have any sample data for a specific task you can try using PhotoScan Standard demo and check if there are no additional features from Pro required in your workflow.

Anyway, it is always possible to upgrade to Professional edition.
