Test with a critcial model
« on: November 14, 2015, 01:19:14 AM »
Hello,

I am testing Photoscan for the first time since a few days and I made a latest test with 160 shots and 5 Clean Plates of this 1999 Batman figure. The figure's paint is glossy and the cape covers the back and legs. For that I did 32 shots from bottom view but the inner parts are still incomplete.

My actual test setup is simple. I use a D200 with 35mm @ 22 aperture. There's no special lighting yet. Just some kind of top fill light of the small room. Next week I will do more tests with a lightbox setup and D800.

But I am surprised that the result is not that bad even with the glossy surface and not really optimal lighting for photogrammetry.

Check out the result:

Happy weekend
Michael
