Shape Export in 3D
« on: November 28, 2015, 08:41:37 PM »
The new version is great with very good new features!

It is very useful to be able to digitize features in DEM window. However I would suggest that the Shape export be done in 3d and not 2d.

In example, I have a polyline digitized on DEM and in measure we see it has 3D info on each vertex. However when we export this polyline to Shape it is just done in 2D.

Would be more useful if features were exported in (Point3d, Polyline3d or Polygon3D) in Shape so has to keep this useful information,

Thanks

To open Ortho or DEM view, you need to generate a DEM or Ortho in your workflow and then just double click on Ortho or Dem item in your workspace Chunk....

Hello pap1956@gmail.com,

Version 1.2.1 supports shapes export to DXF format that saves 3D coordinates for the shape vertices.
