Stereo Pairs

I have a stereo rig, two 6ti's with remote shutters and 50mm fixed lenses I used for another software. One big question, what do the pairs buy you in agisoft, what is the advantage? Is is it worth it?

It depends on what you're shooting and how you use them. A stereo setup isn't going to get you much benefit in its normal configuration, but using 2 synced cameras can cut down the time it takes to shoot a scene. 2 cameras mounted on a vertical pole 1-3m apart would be useful for outdoor scenes, although I'd use wider lenses.

Thanks, are there any benefits in using them to shoot objects. I have a synced rig, I am not sure if I am going to get anything better in terms of alignment and cloud quality.

Mainly saves you time as you're capturing images faster. Doesn't matter whether the cameras are synced or not.

...and you have a good stereo base without thinking about it and the same situation at changing conditions (moving clouds, moving cars, people, trees, leaves...).
Even better are three cameras because Agisoft needs at least three images for accurate point measurements.
Disadvantages: - bulky
- expensive
