Can't use "Measure area and volume"

I'm trying to calculate a pot-shaped hole made by myself with photoscan. I followed the tutorial on this website: http://www.agisoft.com/index.php?id=36
However, after I carried out the "Close holes" step, the "Measure area and volume" bottom is still gray. Why can't I use this function?

Hello leo66632,

This function can be applied to referenced or scaled models. If you do not have any reference point or scale bars with input source values in the Reference pane, then you can't measure areas and volumes.

I do place two marker with a scale bar manually, as shown in the picture.
Or is placing only two marker not enough?
