jumping points in 3D view, error?
« on: January 03, 2016, 05:46:01 PM »
Hi

i have tied Agisoft PhotoScan with and without tracking markers, with Mac OS an Win7 (in virtual box).
i got often the result that the markers were found good and the blue key points also look good but if i rotate the 3D view the point cloud is jumping around in 3d space, and most of the time not displays, if i found a view where the points are displayed it looks good , and if i export it they are all at 0;0;0 position. :(
i tried to disable a few cameras or take only 4 but if a scene is not working i haven't found a chance to even get a few aligned without jumping around :/
and some times it puts all cameras on a circle all facing outwards, the black lines are all intersecting in one point in the middle..
is this a common problem? whats wrong? thx for any help

thx

Hello fisch,

Usually such behavior can be observed for the projects that are based on the geotagged images, when the coordinates are the same for all the camera positions.

If it is the case in your projects (you can check it in the Reference pane) then just clear the camera coordinates in the Reference pane and swtich the coordinate system to the Local Coordinates.
Best regards,

Ah, thx  :D
it also works if you give a scale for the distance between two markers..

thank you!
