Adding new chunks after old chunks merged
« on: March 19, 2011, 06:48:57 PM »
Hi,

I've merged a number of chunks, giving me a textured model.

If I then add a new chunk, should I delete the existing merged chunk before re-aligning & merging the chunks again?

Or will the existing merged chunk model be ignored when I do the chunk alignment again? And will the existing merged chunk model be overwritten by the new merge?

Regards.

Hello,

There is no need to delete merged model when new chunk is added. It is recreated each time you merge aligned chunks.

The merged model is ignored during chunk alignment and it is overwritten during the merge process.
