texture rendering problem with 3ds max 2016 and vRay 3.2
« on: December 24, 2015, 11:59:33 PM »
Hello,

I'm trying to render 3d model i've generated from photoscan, but when I render it, I get horrible white seam lines everywhere. The model was build with HDR .exr files and texture was exported in .exr

Also, when i try the tutorial model (building) the seams don't show.

I've attached a copy of my render.

Thank you.

its a problem of the 3DS max material = look for ALPHA channel settings

Hi Wishgranter

I've changed my alpha source from my texture's bitmap to None (opaque), and that fixed it! thanks for the help!
