select area to export for unreferenced Orthophoto
« on: May 08, 2012, 03:28:57 AM »
I am able to export unreferenced orthoimagery and georeference it with good results, but I get the whole mesh exported, which is much larger than my defined region.

This complicates my pixel density calculations and makes more work cleaning the image. It would be nice if I could select an area to export the orthoimagery for, or at least limit it to the region bounding box.

Also it would be nice to be able to export an unreferenced orthophoto at the native photo resolution.

Hello Andy,

Thank you for suggestions.

By now you can set four markers by the region of interest, assign arbitrary coordinates to them in Ground Control pane (but with the corresponding approximate scale) and use Region values in Export Orthophoto dialog, also in this case maximal effective resolution would be shown by default in the Pixel size box.
